 Graham Potter was asked about Chelsea’s form in the presser after today’s game. 6 points from a possible 24 in the last 8 games. He admitted it wasn’t good enough, but couldn’t resist being draw into making his excuses – pointing out that today’s loss and the loss against Arsenal were narrow, and against good teams.

You feel for him – it’s a strong question, but one that has to be asked. You can see his reasoning, but naming a list of 8 games and why you were unlucky in each of them is never going to come off well, no matter how many good reasons you have.
