Chelsea’s squad this season: ▪️ Current size: 29 ▪️ 26 players used in PL ▪️ 28 players used in all comps ▪️ Four players joined in January ▪️ João Félix reportedly incoming ▪️ Further signings rumored 😳

For a few years now, they have been trolls and banters on Chelsea fans concerning the fact that they are tenants and not rightful owners of Stamford Bridge. To this effect, they are called names like 'Rent Boys', 'Fulham Tenants' and many others. This poses the question who owns the Stamford Bridge. Chelsea was founded in 1905 and since then, they have been playing at Stamford Bridge till today. The stadium was opened in 1877 and was used by the London Athletic Club until 1904 when the lease was acquired by two brothers Gus and Joseph Mears.

The two brothers offered the club to Fulham Football Club, but they rejected because of financial problems facing the club. After considering to sell the pitch to a railway company, they decided to form their own football club, Chelsea, to occupy the ground as a rival to Fulham. This implies that the owner of the pitch also founded Chelsea Football Club and decided to use it as it's home ground.
